FAQ

What is Healing Through Harmony?

Healing through Harmony is a group of diverse Brown students dedicated to the healing process through music. We perform at assisted living facilities, senior centers, prisons, and hospitals throughout the greater Providence area. Our mission is to make a difference in others’ lives and to brighten their days, one song and dance at a time.

Is there an audition process?

Nope! All performers of all skill levels are encouraged to perform and participate. Whether you’re a singer, dancer, musician, or even a juggler -- we’d love to have you :)

What if I can’t make any of the performance dates?

Don’t worry! We understand that everyone has busy schedules. We also run a Music Recording Initiative where we collect videos of student performances to send to hospitals and facilities where in-person performances are not feasible. We’d love if you contributed to our virtual music library!

Can I also give music lessons?

Yes! We partner with the Free Music School in East Providence, providing free music lessons for children and adults in violin and piano.

Check out their website here, email us or Revd. Juhee Lee to find out more and get involved.

I still have a couple of questions. Is there an email to contact you guys?

Of course! Shoot us an email at healingthroughharmony@brown.edu. We’ll get back to ya ASAP.
